AMHERST, Mass. (WGGB) — The Minutemen’s upward progress in the Associated Press Top 25 poll continues this week, as they move three spots.

In the latest AP poll, which was released Monday, UMass is ranked #13 in the country, up from #16 the week before.

The USA Today Coaches Poll has the Minutemen ranked #12, up from #15 the week prior.

The move up the rankings comes after two road games over the last week.

UMass is now 16-1 on the season (3-0 in A-10) after a win at George Mason Wednesday night and a win Saturday at Elon.

The Minutemen wrap up that three-game road trip this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. against the Richmond Spiders, before coming back to the Mullins Center for a weekend game this Sunday at 12:00 p.m. against the Fordham Rams.
