GOP Response: Focus On Empowering Americans, Not Gov’t

WASHINGTON (AP) — Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers says Republicans want to empower Americans, not the government, and to close the gap “between where you are and where you want to be.”

The representative from Washington state delivered the response following President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address.

She said it’s Obama’s policies that are making life harder for Americans, and that under those policies “more Americans stopped looking for a job than found one.”

McMorris Rogers also said Obama’s health care overhaul has led to canceled insurance coverage and patients unable to see their regular doctors.

She said the GOP believes “in a government that trusts people and doesn’t limit where you finish because of where you started.”

The clowns of big government have spoken. “Empowering the people” to Republiscums means taking away all public assistance, wait for the riots, then shoot down and kill it’s own residents. To Republicans “empowering the people” means no unemploymenmt benefits, no housing, no EBT, no welfare, and if you are elderly, disabled, or unemployable you must crawl away and die quietly. “empowering” means you are on your own pal.

“She said it’s Obama’s policies that are making life harder for Americans, and that under those policies “more Americans stopped looking for a job than found one.””

The only thing that has made my life harder is the scumbag Republicans cutting my food by $48 a month.
This woman can’t even look you in the eye and say these things without bursting out into laughter at how stupid she sounds. With unemployment down, and jobs are up, it looks like the only ones having a tough life of it are Republicans who are peeing on our legs and telling us it’s raining.

Well then Ms Republican, if we are empowering the citizens, I know of not one that favors giving big Oil Companys millions or billions in tax breaks for subsidies when they are making record profits. Lets start with that one small step, stop that and I’ll believe you.

Lets not forget these same clowns antics just months ago when they cost us over $250 million dollars, and gave government employees a paid two week vacation on our expense. And THEY talk about fiscal responsibility? BAHAHAHA! We HAD a one year memory before the internet, now we don’t forget so easy.

The same party who under GWB on the evening of 9/10/01 announced (Utube video archived) they could not account for 33 TRILLION DOLLARS in taxpayers funds (coincidentally the exact deficit we have now) and then about 12 hours later a “plane” hit that one, tiny, 4 story apt block sized building at the Pentagon and destroyed all computers and records of those funds forever. You believe that? Seriously, you know the odds?
These same people want you to trust them again???

Finally someone in congress knows what our constitution stands for, the people that work and pay taxes, not those looking for a handout
