Armor Beat 87ers 115-112 for Second-Straight Win

armorNEWARK, Del (WGGB)—-The Armor secured their second consecutive win Saturday tonight as they squeaked by the Delaware 87ers on the road, 115-112.

Springfield built up a big lead early, as they took an 18-point lead into the locker room at the half. Darius Johnson-Odom and Willie Reed both had 13 points through the first half to pace the Armor.

Delaware would rally in the second half, cutting the lead to just one, but clutch free throws from the Armor would hold off the 87ers down the stretch.

Johnson-Odom lead Springfield with 25 points and Lorenzo Brown had a game high 33 points for Delaware.

The Armor’s next game is at home on Monday night against Erie.
