Philadelphia, PA (WGGB)—The Minutemen’s road woes continued today as they dropped a barn burner to St. Joes tonight, 73-68.
UMass dug themselves into a hole early and weren’t quite able to complete the comeback. Trailing by 16 points at halftime, the Minutemen went on a run in the second half and tied the score with 1:25 remaining.
However, the Hawks would make clutche free throws down the stretch and hang on for the win.
The #21 Minutemen failed to break out of a rough patch as they are not 1-3 in their last four games and will likely tumble out of the AP Top 25 Rankings on Monday.
