Man Killed after Collision in Pittsfield

pedestrian struckPITTSFIELD, Mass. (wggb) – A man operating a motorized wheel chair was killed Saturday after being struck on Center Street in Pittsfield.

The victim, who has been identified as Jack Joyner, 91 was hit by a Toyota Camry near Depot Street at about 8:20 AM.

Joyner was transported to Berkshire Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

    Huh, between this and the recently fatal car crash, sounds like Pittsfield has some horrible drivers. Combine that with being drug central of the Berkshires and it makes you wonder why anyone would choose to stay. Glad we left when GE did, that city has gone straight down the toilet since then.
