The airport has been experiencing a back-log following Thursday’s snowstorm, and wait times could become very long for those hoping to leave for February vacation. Over 100 flights were cancelled during the storm which lasted more than 24 hours, well into Friday morning.
Friday also saw the Connecticut airport doing their best to make up for the backlog caused by all the cancelled flights. Rescheduling quickly became a concern for passengers, and trying to accommodate everyone. Security lines became long, and they expect the same Saturday and Sunday as more passengers attempt to re-book their flights.
