Big Storm Leaves a Light Snowfall Across Western Mass

.ABC40 First Warning Weather - Snow SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – As expected a huge ocean storm stayed just far enough away from western Massachusetts to keep snowfall amounts light.

Most of the area picked up about 1-2″ of snow with a few spots coming in around 3″. Southeastern Massachusetts and the Cape saw between 8-15″ of accumulation.

Here are some snow totals across the area: Hampden 2.5″, Ludlow 2″, Springfield 1.5″,  Greenfield 1.5″, Southwick 1″, Westfield 1″, Boston 3.5″, Plymouth 10″, New Bedford 10″, Sandwich 11″.
