ENFIELD, Conn. (WGGB) — Police have arrested a second woman accused of setting a fire inside an Enfield Target store.

Thursday, Enfield Police arrested 25-year-old Danishia Thomas of Enfield on charges of second degree arson, first degree reckless endangerment, sixth degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth degree larceny.

Police allege that Thomas and another woman – 19-year-old Erica Lynn Anderson of Enfield – set a fire inside the store on January 27 in order to create a diversion so the pair could shoplift.

Anderson also was arrested earlier this week for her suspected involvement in the incident. She is facing similar charges.
