Canadian Hockey Team

The final day of the Winter Olympics on Sunday features the men’s hockey gold medal game and Steve Holcomb vying to make bobsled history. Here’s what you should watch (all times ET) before the closing ceremony.

The 411 on the 12 new Winter Olympic events

All events are live-streamed at NBCOlympics.com. Sunday’s tape-delayed daytime coverage (2 p.m., NBC) will feature cross-country and bobsled. The closing ceremony starts at 8:30 p.m.

Hockey, men’s gold medal game — Sweden vs. Canada
When:
 7 a.m. on NBC (live); 5 p.m. (replay)
Canada will go for its third gold medal in the past four Olympics. Who won that other gold? Sweden, of course. Both teams are undefeated in Sochi. A win for the Canucks would be their first off North American soil since they triumphed in Oslo in 1952.

Olympic hotties: Who’s sizzling beneath the parka?

Boblsed, men’s four-man
When:
4:30 a.m. on NBC Sports (live); 2 p.m. on NBC (tape delay)
Reigning champ Steven Holcomb’s sled sits in fourth place after Saturday’s first two runs, with Russia in first, Latvia in second and Germany in third — but just 0.17 of a second separates first and fourth. If Holcomb can successfully defend, he’d be the first American to win back-to-back Olympic golds in the event since Billy Fiske in 1928 and ’32.

Olympic stars to watch

Cross-country skiing, men’s 50-kilometer freestyle
When:
 2 a.m. (live); 2 p.m. on NBC (tape delay)
You’ve got two hours to kill in the middle of the night, right? Swiss Dario Cologna will attempt to sweep the individual events after claiming gold in the 15-kilometer and 30-kilometer. Norwegian Petter Northug is the defending champion.
