Montgomery Street Reopened After One-Car Crash Lands Jeep on Top of Snowbank

CAR V SNOWBANKCHICOPEE (WGGB) — Montgomery Street in Chicopee is back open this morning after police were able to remove a Jeep from on top of a snowbank Saturday night.

Chicopee Police officers, investigators, and fire crews were on the scene of the one car crash at an entry road to the Big Y on Memorial Dr. just after 8:30 p.m., where a car had slammed into an embankment. The white jeep somehow ended up on top of several feet of snow.

Police say the driver was not badly injured and that no other cars were involved.

The road was cleared and reopened a couple hours later. Investigators are still working to determine how the crash happened, and how the car ended up on top of the snowbank.

Jeeps are incredible vehicles, too bad there are idiots that own them.
