Noble Hospital Opens Newly Renovated Wing
WESTFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Noble Hospital has a opened a newly renovated patient wing.
A ribbon cutting marked the occasion this morning at 2 North, one of the hospital’s main areas – the general medical/surgical floor.
Updates include the patient rooms, nurses’ station and family waiting areas.
Dr. Stanley Strzempko says the renovations provide for a complete therapeutic package in patient care.
“Healing is about a lot of things. It’s about the doctors, it’s about a good therapeutic plan, but it’s also about a healing environment, and we didn’t have that up here. It needed work,” Strzempko explains.
The project was made possible by funds raised during the Noble Ball back in 2012.
The ball is an annual fundraiser for the hospital.
