Salvation Army Collects Donations in Westfield

WalmartSAdriveWESTFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — The Salvation Army was outside Walmart in Westfield Saturday, collecting donations.

They say they are in serious need of donations of clothing and shoes.

The donations are sold and go towards funding many of the Salvation Army’s programs.
Donations are tax deductible, and though the greatest need is for clothing and shoes, donations of small appliances and household items are also welcome.

“Whatever you can donate, please feel free, it goes to a good cause. We appreciate it and it goes to a good cause,” said Charles Baldes, a Warehouse Supervisor for the Salvation Army.

If you’d like to donate. the Salvation Army truck will be outside Walmart Hadley next Saturday.
