John Travolta Speaks Out About Messing Up Idina Menzel's Name at the Oscars

John Travolta

John Travolta is speaking out about his big Oscars flub. At Sunday’s ceremony, the actor incorrectly introduced Idina Menzel as Adele Dazeem before her performance of Frozen‘s “Let It Go.”

“I’ve been beating myself up all day,” Travolta said in a statement obtained by Today. “Then I thought … what would Idina Menzel say? She’d say, ‘Let it go, let it go!’ Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!”
