ABC40 Honor Roll – Kids Helping Kids Around the World

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB) –  Fifth graders at the White Brook Middle School in Easthampton  are taking part in a program called, “Free the Children.” The students are on a mission to help other kids locally and around the world.

During the holiday season the fifth graders delivered over 400 pounds of food to the Easthampton food pantry and they volunteered serving meals at the soup kitchen. This month the kids are kicking off their, “We Are Love” Campaign and the money raised will go directly to the purchase of bricks for a new school in India.

The campaign features buttons for sale and each button tells the story about children being affected. Buttons cost 2 dollars
