FX Renews Archer for Two Seasons

FX has renewed Archer for two more seasons, the network announced Thursday.

Seasons 6 and 7 will each contain 13 episodes. Thursday’s renewal will keep the hit animated spy comedy on the air through at least 2016.

Kenny Loggins brings Archer into the “Danger Zone”

Archer is one of the best comedies on television and has played a significant role in the growth of the FX Comedy brand,” Eric Schrier, FX’s President of Original Programming, said in a statement. “We’re grateful to Adam Reed, Matt Thompson and their team at Floyd County, and also our incredible voice cast, and are looking forward to supporting their work for at least two more seasons.”

Archer features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Aisha Tyler and Judy Greer.

The show, currently in its fifth season, airs Mondays at 10/9c on FX.
