Sundance Sets Premiere Date for Rectify Season 2

Rectify will return for its sophomore season on Thursday, June 19, Sundance Channel announced Thursday.

The drama stars Aden Young as Daniel Holden, a man who’s been released from prison after spending nearly two decades on death row and struggles to adjust to his former life.

“The response to Rectify has been incredible,” Sundance Channel President Sarah Barnett said in a statement. “We feel as though this story has tapped into something truly unique. … There’s so much drama and character that’s been set up in the first season, it will be electrifying to see where Rectify goes in season two.”
