100 Bags of Heroin Found During Traffic Stop, Chase in Deerfield

DEERFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – There was another heroin bust Western Mass, this time in Deerfield.

Just after 4:00 p.m. Thursday, State Troopers requested assistance for a suspect that fled from a traffic stop on I-91.

It was reported the suspect ran through the park and ride towards Tri-Town Beach.

Deerfield Officer Puchalski and Sgt. Krusiewski helped with the search by setting up binoculars and observing the suspect.

They were able to alert State Police of the suspect’s whereabouts, leading to an arrest. 100 bags of heroin were discovered in his possession.

State Police have been helping with the successful interception of heroin traffickers on Rt. 91 over the several past months.

    I am so happy you continuously apprehend this idiots. I just heard they come from CT, Springfield Holyoke etc… And bring it north because they can get twice as much. It’s time we take these scum off the streets. And YES they need jail time. LONG jail time!!! Enough already!!
