Foote’s big night powers Armor past Bayhawks

ERIE, PA (WGGB) — The Springfield Armor (18-23) capped off a win behind clutch performances from Khalif Wyatt and Jeff Foote in a 107-104 win at Erie Friday night.

Foote broke a franchise record, grabbing 24 rebounds, a single-game record that stood for over four years.

After trailing by as much as 17 points in the first half, the Armor fought back and even maintained a 9-2 run before heading into halftime trailing by just three by a score of 58-55.

Springfield came back in the second half and lead by as much as 18 points, before the BayHawks battled back with a 13-0 run.

The BayHawks run was no match for Wyatt, who scored five points in the final minute, and finished the game with 26 points, in the Armor’s victory
