Glow In The Dark Boot Camp Class Benefits Griffin’s FriendsCHICOPEE, Mass. (WGGB) – A glow in the dark boot camp class was held to benefit a local charity Friday night.
The class was held at Train for Life in Chicopee. Several hundred people turned out for the class, which was hosted by Griffin’s Friends, a group of volunteers dedicated to providing support to children with cancer.
“We use exercise as our tool, our way to get people together, get people excited. The people that come pay either 10 or 15 dollars whether they’re a member or non-member and we donate all that money to the cause at hand. It’s just a really fun way to get people together, get people excited for an awesome event,” said Drew McConaha of Train for Life.
The proceeds of the class benefit the “Griffin’s Friends Children’s Cancer Fund” at Baystate Health Foundation.
