Cayla Jones, 20, from Manchester Ct., failed to stop for police and ditched her vehicle, leading police on a foot chase. A concerned citizen noticed the subject walking towards the center of town and State Police K9 and Helicopter assistance was required.

During the search, police received a tip that Jones may have gotten into a white vehicle with Connecticut plates. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Silver and Federal Street and both Jones and a male passenger were placed into handcuffs.

Officers searched the vehicle and found what they believe to be a large amount of crack cocaine and over 200 individual packaged bags of heroin.

Jones was placed under arrest for Possession with intent to distribute a Class A and Class B substance, two counts of possession with intent to distribute within 300 feet of a school zone and conspiracy to violate the drug law. She is being held on bail in Greenfield Police’s custody until her arraignment.

Knock off it off ed! You are a deranged BULLY!!! Why should she get entitlements funded by us taxpayers? If you commit a crime you should have your welfare cut off. Maybe people would think twice before committing a crime. If you break the law, you have to deal with the consequences with fines , jail, or probation. If she gets sentenced to jail, and has children, her family will take care of the children, if she has family and they are unable or refuse to take care of the kids, they will go to foster care. She is aware that taking that risk to break the law will have punishment. You are nothing but a bleeding heart liberal! If you are really concerned about criminals children , why don’t you become a foster parent? In the meantime, stop criticizing other people’s posts! I had the same thoughts as kody. I am sick of these low- life’s make a career on us taxpayer’s money. If you can ‘t feed them, don’t breed them !
