Springfield Police Investigate ‘Unattended’ Death

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Springfield police are investigating what they’re calling an “unattended death” on Agnes Street.

Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney says that around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 48 Agnes Street.

Investigators found a 29-year-old female dead in an upstairs bedroom.

Delaney adds that they continue to look into this “unattended death” and the office of the Chief Medical Examiner is working to determine a cause of death.

At this time, Delaney explains that there are no signs of violence or foul play.

The name of the woman has not been released.
