Napoli’s 4 RBI Lead Red Sox Over Orioles 6-2

BALTIMORE (AP) — Mike Napoli homered and drove in four runs, John Lackey allowed three hits in six innings and the Boston Red Sox spoiled the Baltimore debut of Ubaldo Jimenez by beating the Orioles 6-2 Wednesday night.

David Ortiz hit a two-run homer and Dustin Pedroia had four hits for the defending World Series champion Red Sox, now 1-1 after losing to Baltimore on opening day.

Nelson Cruz homered for the second time in two games for the Orioles, who mustered only six hits off Lackey and three relievers.
