Art Exhibit Showcases Locals Who ‘Live Well’ in Springfield
The campaign launched a $2 million movement, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, with an art exhibit showcasing different city residents and what they’re doing to improve their health.
“I thought it was healthier and it just fit in right with me. I felt so comfortable. I changed my diet, I work out, I have a daily work out that I do now and it just changed me,” said Brenda Santana, who rows with the Pioneer Valley Riverfront Rowing Club.
ABC 40 was a media partner of the event, which is the first of its kind to promote changes you can make to improve your health through better nutrition and physical activity.
