BOSTON (AP) — A Boston Marathon bombing survivor says in a tweet that she left a Boston television studio in tears before a taping of NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Dancer Adrianne Haslet-Davis lost her left foot in the bombing and said Friday she asked the national news program not to mention the suspect’s name but the show used it.

NBC News spokeswoman Erika Masonhall says Haslet-Davis was due to take part in a round-table discussion and asked that the suspects’ names not be mentioned. Masonhall says given the nature of the discussion “Meet the Press” could not make that guarantee and regrets any distress caused by the miscommunication.

She says the NBC News president left a voicemail for Haslet-Davis apologizing for the confusion.

A message seeking comment was left with a representative for Haslet-Davis.

This victim apparently has brain damage too. How stupid can you be, to say yes you will participate but only if their names were not mentioned? If you are that sensitive about it then you should not agree to participate in the first place.

how stupid can you be to say something like that about it? how the hell would you feel in her shoes… her whole life was shattered and you have the lack of heart to call her stupid and say shes brain damaged. here’s to wishing the same thing happens to you and see how you react to it

She is obviously a premadonna. Dancers are known for being high strung weirdos. She ONLY lost her foot, others were not so lucky. But I see you kept your sense of humor with “in her shoes” LOL

          You really are sick…

People died, she only lost a foot. In comparison that’s a big difference. How unreasonable do you need to be to take part in a discussion about the bombers that injured you, and expect their names not be mentioned? It is a unreasonable expectation of hers, and she should have just said no to the whole thing.

No need for name calling! She made a mistake! They apologized! Life goes on. Hopefully she will think twice about accepting invitations with any discussions involving the suspects. This woman is not going to “heal” and forget what happened in a years time! No one should expect that from her!

I don’t think the station ever made that promise. I do not believe her side of it, or that any producer or member of that show would make such promises.

She “only lost a foot”?? Do you people even hear yourselves?? Do you even know how to have an ounce of compassion or are you just dead inside?? Yes, others suffered worse fate than she, but does that mean that she didn’t have a new life to adjust to with the loss of a limb? Does that mean she didn’t suffer trauma? Does that mean she didn’t witness and live through the same thing all those other victims lived through?? WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU PEOPLE????? You sit there behind your computers and fake names thinking you are so smart but you don’t use your brain for a second to think. You lay judgment on a BOMBING VICTIM and call her a prima Donna because she ONLY LOST A FOOT?!?!? If you can even classify yourselves among the human race at all with your lack of empathy…you are just disgusting and nauseating…
