Springfield Falcons Presented with F. G. Teddy Oke Trophy

FalconsWEBSPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – The Springfield Falcons were awarded with the F. G. Teddy Oke Trophy Friday night.

This award is given to the Northeast Division’s champion, which the Falcons clinched on Sunday following a 4-3 loss by the Albany Devils. This is the second consecutive season for the team to win the award.

The Falcons earned a top-three seed in the Eastern Conference and home-ice advantage in the opening round of the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs.

The team’s first two home playoff games will be played at the MassMutual Center Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 at 7:00 PM.Their  first-round opponent has not been chosen yet.
