Thousands Line Up at Marathon Finish Line for Historic Sports Illustrated Shoot
Bombing survivors, first responders, residents and more crowded at the finish line, along with Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Police Commissioner William Evans. There were an estimated 3,000 people who gathered on Boylston Street for the occasion.
This comes a few days before the one year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings, which happened last year on April 15.
The issue of Sports Illustrated will be on sale beginning Tuesday.
