Springfield Falcons

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WGGB) — After allowing scores on the first two Hershey shootout attempts, Mike McKenna stonewalled the final three attempts to anchor a 4-3 victory for the Falcons Saturday at the MassMutual Center.

With the win, Springfield sets the franchise record for most wins in a single season with 46.

The Falcons return to the ice Sunday at Bridgeport in the first of three road games to end the regular season. They will host a first-round contest in the Calder Cup playoffs beginning on Friday, April 25.
