WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WGGB) — Honor Roll Live is set to hit the road again.

This morning, we head to the home of the Panthers – Cathedral High School. It’s been 3 years since the tornado devastated Springfield’s Cathedral High School.

“We drove around forever looking for old buildings, empty hospitals, possibly old supermarkets and then we found this school,” explains Principal, John Miller.

Out in Wilbraham is the temporary, but well-suited home for the purple panthers. But location doesn’t matter as much as the quality the students enrolled. Only about 245 students attend the school, but its one with a lot of character.

Student, Soo Cheung, came from South Korea. Why did you decide to come to Cathedral High School?” asks ABC40′s Brittany Decker. “Well I cam here my freshman year, and there’s not many schools that said I could come so i’m very grateful. There’s a lot of extra curricular activities,” says Cheung.

There are several community oriented groups that serve around the country, globally, and right here at home.

“From holding clothing drives to visiting soup kitchens we strive to live out the ideals outlined in the gospel,” says student, Molly Sullivan.

Students here excel in academics. They also shared their music and athletic talent on Friday as well.

Honor Roll Live: Cathedral High, this morning on 40 in the Morning, only on ABC40.
