Toddler Dies After Fall from Boston Building
BOSTON (AP) — Boston police say a toddler has died after falling from a city apartment building.
Superintendent in Chief William Gross tells The Boston Globe that the little boy was either 2 or 3 years old and the fall was reported at about 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The child was found on the pavement at the back of the building and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are investigating whether the child fell from the roof or a window of the four-floor building.
Shantiqua Steele was walking past when she saw the commotion and tells the Boston Herald that the boy was wearing just a diaper and socks.
