A Beautiful Sunday

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — It was a chilly start this morning but a beautiful day is on the way! We will see plenty of sunshine and it will be warm with low levels of humidity. Temperatures will rebound very quickly and highs will top out in the upper 70’s to around 80. If you are going to be headed out to enjoy the beautiful weather make sure to put on the sunscreen as the June sun is very strong.

Tonight we will see mostly clear skies once again though it will not be a chilly as last night thanks to a bit of a breeze. Winds out of the south between 5-10 mph will help keep lows in the mid to upper 40’s.

The new work week will start off nice on Monday with partly cloudy skies and above average temperatures. Highs will be in the lower 80s. Clouds will increase, though, as we head into an unsettled pattern beginning next Tuesday. A cold front will move through on Wednesday, and there are some indications that a wave of low pressure will glide along the front and bring more rain to the area on Thursday.

Have a great day!
