Cheerleaders Help Clean Up the Dunbar YMCA

photo1 (4)SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — The Springfield Youth Cheerleading Panthers volunteered  at a community cleanup at the Dunbar YMCA Family & Community Center early Sunday afternoon.

The team and coaches, along with additional volunteers from Central High School did some general cleaning to beautify the center.

The clean up was led by YMCA of Greater Springfield Corporate Board Chair and SYC Coach, Sarah Williams.

SYC is a competitive cheerleading organization run by volunteers with assistance from Central High School’s cheering program.

The YMCA of Greater Springfield is the second oldest YMCA in the country and the third oldest in North America. The Dunbar YMCA serves 3,500 youth, teens, families and seniors throughout the Mason Square Community.
