BOSTON, Mass. (WGGB) — After some quick jury deliberations, two brothers are found guilty in a One Fund Boston fraud case involving a bogus $2 million claim.

Brendan Matthier and his brother Dominique Grice were on trial in Boston.

They used their late aunt’s name — who died more than a decade ago— to file a claim with the One Fund saying she lost her legs in the bombings.

Friday the jury got to hear the audio recording from the police interview.

In it Matthier tries to portray himself as a Robin Hood type character… saying he wanted to start his own fund to help the needy,

Police: “Did you think you were entitled to the money in any way shape or form?”

Matthier: “I think I was intended to that money to do what i would like to do, yes!”

The jury just got the case today after closing arguments.

Sentencing is set for June 23rd.
