Storrowton Village Museum Kicks Off Summer

storrowtown WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WGGB) — Storrowton village museum kicked off their summer season today with a free day of tours for the whole family.
There were guided tours through the buildings as well as interpreters dressed up as 19th century figures for the full effect.

People gathered to see old American activities such as cooking over the open hearth in the Gilbert farmstead, tending the forge in the blacksmith shop and learning lessons in the one-room schoolhouse.

Storrowton open house tours continue through August 22nd with guided tours for individuals and groups Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. To 3 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults and free for children under 6.
