SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB)  The full July moon will be lighting up the country side tomorrow night and this time around it will look a little bigger in the sky.

The July full moon is called The full “Buck Moon” or “Thunder Moon”.  And this July’s moon is also  a “Supermoon”.  The “Supermoon” occurs when the moon is full while making a close pass to the earth, giving it a larger appearance in the sky.

The “Supermoon” will happen again next month on August 10, and the following month on September 9.
