Police-Break in1

SUNDERLAND, Mass. (WGGB) — Police are looking for a pair of suspects accused of breaking into homes.

Sunderland Police report that a man and woman have broken into homes in town and stolen “significant amounts of jewelry.”

Investigators add that if someone is home, the suspects reportedly ask for directions, pretending to be lost.

One suspect is described as a white male, 52 years old, about 6′ tall, and has brown/grey hair.

The other suspect is described as a white female, 41 years old, about 5′ 3″ tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police believe that they may be driving an older model blue/green Honda Accord, with Mass. plates, or a brown/gold Chevrolet Impala or Cavalier, also with Mass. plates.

If anyone has information or see suspicious people or cars in your neighborhood, you are urged call 911 immediately.

Residents are also being reminded to lock all doors and windows when leaving the home, and let your neighbors know if you will be away for an extended period of time.

Sunderland residents can also request a house check by filling out a form available through the department.
