SUNDERLAND, Mass. (WGGB) — Sunderland Police want to alert people to a couple of incidents that happened Wednesday afternoon.

Police say that yesterday, two separate calls came in from women reporting that a man had driven up to them to ask for directions, while he was naked from the waist down.

The women were walking in the area of the 7-Eleven Plaza on Route 116 when the incidents occurred.

Investigators are currently working to see if there are any videos available of the car from the plaza area, so that they may be able to find a license plate number.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid-to-late 30’s, and is balding. He was seen driving a small rusty, tan car, possibly a Honda.

Police advises that if anyone experiences this kind of incident or something similar, or if you feel you are being followed, to get out of the area and call 911 immediately.

If anything suspicious or out of the ordinary at any time, police remind people to call the station at (413) 665-7036, or (413) 625-8200 if there is no answer to get the on-duty officer.
