NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB) — One of Friendly’s oldest locations has closed its doors for good.

In a statement, Friendly’s says that GLG Corp., a franchisee that owns and operates three area Friendly’s locations, has ceased operations at the King Street restaurant.

“Friendly’s in Northampton values its guests and thanks them for their patronage,” the statement adds.

Employees of the Northampton location have been offered positions at GLG’s other Friendly’s restaurants in Hadley and Florence.
