Making a Difference - Cookies for Soldiers in Afghanistan
Kristina's Kafe & Bakery in Belchertown recently shipped a package of cookies to a Belchertown soldier serving in Afghanistan. The cookies sent on July 4th were shared with his platoon, and the small token of appreciation were Making a Difference for the troops.

Making a Difference - Bridging the Gap Program
The Springfield Salvation Army's Bridging the Gap Program gives first-time teenage offenders the ability to avoid going before a judge by completing a six-month course with intensive life skills instruction with people like Springfield police officers. The program helps build self esteem and gives the teenagers the ability make better choices, which is Making a Difference.

The YWCA Youthbuild program has recently graduated a group of young people looking to turn their lives around. The program offers training in a trade, but does much more beyond that with life skills, educational opportunities and leadership skills. Its work is Making a Difference.
