SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (abc40) -- A Holyoke man was allegedly shot at while driving his car early Monday morning after he had honked at a another vehicle that had cut him off, according to police
At 12:05 aa.m., officers responded to 2225 East Columbus Ave., for a report of shots fired, police said.
Police spoke to a 31-year-old Holyoke man who was allegedly involved in a road rage incident, according to Sgt. John Delaney. The victim said that while he was driving he was cut off in traffic by a white Toyota Camry and honked his horn to complain, police said.
According to police, the Toyota then began to follow the victim and when the 31-year-old made a U-turn to try and avoid confrontation, an unknown suspect fired three shots at his car hitting it in the rear.
Nobody was injured during the incident and investigators are following leads.
