Armor Take UConn Guard Austrie in 4th Round

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (abc40) - The Springfield Armor selected former UConn guard Craig Austrie in the 4th round of tonight's NBA D-League Draft.  Austrie played 3 years for the Huskies and averaged 7.5 points and 1.9 boards in his junior year (2008-09).

Other notables drafted for the Armor include the first pick (13th overall) point guard JamesOn Curry from Oklahoma State and second pick (19th overall) center Major Wingate from Tennessee.

UMass grad Chris Lowe was taken in the 7th round by the Reno Bighorns.
