SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) -- Three out-of-town men have been arrested Thursday after allegedly propositioning an undercover female officer to engage in sexual acts with them, according to police.
According to Springfield Police Department spokesman Sgt. John Delaney, the men were all arrested near Main and Rutledge streets in the city's South End and are a successful action in Police Commissioner William Fitchet's plan to rid the area of drugs and prostitution.
According to Delaney, Ryan Leak, 23, of 1 Chapin Way, Northampton; David Williams, 44, of 339 Main St., Easthampton; and James Damato, 60, of 8 Frew Terrace, Enfield, Conn., were all arrested on charges of sexual conduct for pay.
The men were scheduled to be arraigned in Springfield District Court Friday.
