CHICOPEE, Mass. (WGGB) Passengers of the US Airways flight that crashed into the Hudson River last January, have released a book.

"Miracle on the Hudson:  The Survivors of Flight 1549" is a story written by two professional authors based on the experiences of many of those on board.

"At one point, I thought I could die," says Jorge Morgado of Chicopee, who offered his recollections for the project.

Morgado was headed on a golf trip with friends when the plane struck birds shortly after takeoff. Captain Chesley Sullenberger was able to land the plane in the water, saving all 155 people on board.

The book is available at major book sellers and Amazon.
