HATFIELD, Mass (abc40) -- It seems everywhere you turn there is a new way to "go green."  But overhauling your home or office in the name of energy and economic efficiency can be overwhelming.

Amy Stiles is an eco-consultant for Green Irene.  From energy conservation to toxic-free living, she knows the ins and outs of going green.  As part of a home or business makeover Stiles goes well beyond CFL light bulbs and low-flow shower heads. She introduces clients to the world of green cleaning products, composting and do-it-yourself energy efficiency.  Stiles says, "When they see how easy it is to use alternative products, they're really happy and excited to make those changes."

Stiles says her clients are shocked to learn how a small change to daily habits can make a huge difference in the world around us.  She adds, "We're so busy in our daily live that we don't stop and think about things like that but it's very important that we do."

An in-home/office consultation costs $99.

Amy Stiles is hosting an Earth Day Awareness event on April 21 at the Castle of Knights in Chicopee.  For more information on a consultation or to buy tickets to the event, log onto www.greenirene.com/1057 .
