Brittany joins the ABC40 team after a year at WTNH/WCTX in New Haven, Conn., where she was the MYTV9 STAR, serving as the “face” of the station at events throughout the state.

She trained with the WTNH weather team and contributed to their WXEdge website. She is currently pursuing her Meteorology degree from Mississippi State University.

Brittany graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in mass-media communications from Western New England College in Springfield. She interned at WWLP, and received first place awards for news reporting in the college’s media festival, and an Associated Press Award for a story she produced while in Cambodia.

Brittany represented Connecticut at the Miss America Pageant in January of 2011 that aired live on ABC. During her year of service as Miss Connecticut she hosted and/or sang at over 300 events, served as an ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and ran the “Day of Confidence” conference.

She looks forward to keeping ABC40 viewers safe and delivering as much sunshine as she can to Western Massachusetts!
