Catch the Red Sox in the World Series on FOX 6!

(WGGB) -- The Boston Red Sox are heading to the World Series and FOX 6 Springfield will have you covered.

After beating the Tampa Bay Rays in the divisional series, and the Detroit Tigers in the league championship, the Sox will now face the National League Champion St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series.

Because the American League won the All-Star Game this season, Boston will have home-field advantage and host Games 1, 2, 6, and 7.
