VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO PLAY WITH HOMELESS CHILDREN

Did you know that 1 in every 45 children in the U.S will go to sleep without a home this year? Horizons for Homeless Children is seeking fun-loving, dependable people to interact and play with children living in family homeless shelters and domestic violence shelters throughout Western Massachusetts. A commitment of 2 hours a week is required for at least 6 months or 1 semester if you are a student. Day and evening hours are available. Trainings are held regularly and are listed on our website. Enjoy Seussian stories, arts and crafts, and birthday cake and bunch.

Masonic lodges in Wilbraham and Indian Orchard are hosting a wild game supper on Saturday, March 2nd, at the Elks Lodge at 69 Chain Street in Ludlow. The doors will open at 6:00 P.M. and the evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres, followed by a wild game supper and dessert. There will also be prizes given away at this event. It is open to the public.
