Pair O’ Dice City Rollers “Fresh Meat” Night

What: The Pair O’ Dice City Rollers are recruiting skaters and officials for their 2013 season. Ladies 18 or older are invited to come participate and learn the basics of staking and roller derby on February 28, 2013 at Interskate 91 in Wilbraham.

Event Details: The Pair O’ Dice City Rollers are seeking skaters and officials! Fresh Meat Night will cover the skating and derby basics which include falling safely, hitting and blocking. You could be the next top-scoring jammer or hardest hitting blocker! If you are interested in joining the team come participate as a skater, referee, NSO (non-skating official), or bout volunteers. Volunteers are always appreciated! There is a position in derby for everyone! Attendees must be 18 or older to skate.

Loaner gear is available, but bring any protective gear you have. Gear includes a helmet, elbow and knee pads, wrist guards and a mouth guard. The rink has rental skates in all sizes. Wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring water!
