HOLYOKE, Mass. (abc40) -- The City of Holyoke has unveiled a new system for writing parking tickets. It is an automated and high-tech.
There are three components: a cell phone, digital paper, and a digital pen.
Now when an officer writes a ticket, the information and picture of the violation will be quickly transmitted to a secure Web site.
Holyoke police chief Anthony Scott says the new system will cut down on appeals and will allow officers to write more tickets because of the system's efficiency.
