AMHERST, Mass. (abc40) -- Students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst gathered to watch the third and final presidential debate Wednesday night.
It was one of several debate watching parties on the Amherst campus where students sat quietly for the 90 minute matchup, then spoke up boldly afterwards.
"The first debate I wasn't there but I heard ... there was a loud, lively debate after the debate [between students] that lasted until 2 in the morning," said senior Jackie Hai.
Though the students watching vary in political affiliations, most support senator Obama.
"I am conservative ... but I think I am going to vote for Obama," said junior Eric Magazu.
Students say there is a considerable get out the vote effort on campus and they think there is a lot of excitment surrounding this election.
