From graveside ceremonies, to parades, to even a road race, events will be held across Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin Counties to pause and honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Parade: 9:30 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Parade runs from North Common, South Pleasant Street to War Memorial on Mattoon Street. Ceremony will follow.
Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. Sun. May 25 – Quabbin Park Cemetery (arrive by 10:30)

Parade: 10:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Starts at Town Hall, ends at town common (followed by ceremony on common)
Ceremony: 7:00 p.m. Sun. May 25 – Candlelight service at Vietnam Plaza on Chicopee Street
Parade: 10:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Exchange Street, to Cabot Street, around Bullens Park, left onto Center Street, up Front Street, to Veterans’ Memorial Plaza
Ceremony: 11:15 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Veteran’s Plaza, Front Street (in the event of inclement weather, ceremony will be at 10:00 a.m. at American Legion Post 452.
Parade: 10:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Clark Street, to Cottage Street, to Union Street, to Main Street, around Pulaski Park, past the library, left on Payson, left on Park, ending at the library
Parade: 10:50 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Brief parade from the high school to the flagpole, followed by a formal program inside the high school’s auditorium.
Parade: 9:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Starts at 250 State Street, to the West Street Cemetery, to the Batchelor Street Cemetery
Parade: 10:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Starts at the Middle School, to Federal Street, east on Church, south on Franklin and west on Main Street, to the Town Common for a ceremony, then west on Main Street, countermarch at Conway Street and end up at the Veterans’ Mall
Parade: 10:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – St. Mary’s Church and proceeds to the common across from Hampden Town House for a ceremony
Parade: 12:30 p.m. Sun. May 25 – Begins at Hatfield American Legion on Elm Street, to Town Hall for a 1:00 p.m. program
Ceremony: 9:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – War Memorial, Appleton Street
Parade: 10:30 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Starts on Appleton Street, to High Street, up Lyman Street, left onto Maple Street for ceremony at Veterans Park
Parade/Ceremony: 8:30 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Parade to Town Hall, for ceremony at 8:50 a.m at Town Common
Service: 10:00 a.m. Sun. May 25 – Union Church of Christ, Center Street
Parade: 9:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Winsor Street, to East Street, to Hubbard Street, to Oak Street, to Howard Street, to Center Street to the memorial
Parade: 10:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Starts at Wing Medical Center (corner of Chestnut Street and Palmer Road) and ends at Memorial Town Hall
Road Race: 9:45 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Florence Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk (presented by the Veterans Association of Hampshire County). Click here to REGISTER
Parade: 10:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Trinity Row Park (Florence), down Park Street to North Maple, back to Florence Center to Park Street Cemetery
Service: 11:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – VA Medical Center Chapel, Leeds
Parade: 10:30 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Starts at the top of Thorndike Street, near Lawrence Street, and continue to Converse Street for a ceremony around 11:00 a.m. at the War Memorial at Converse Middle School.
Road Race: 10:00 a.m. Sat. May 24 – Run 2 Remember, with portion of proceeds to benefit Pioneer Valley USO. CLICK HERE for more information.

Service: 9:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Bishop’s Mass, St. Michael’s Cemetery, State Street
Parade: 1:00 p.m. Mon. May 26 – Starts on Maple Street, to Veterans Park on Main Street. In case of rain, ceremony will be inside Town Hall.
Parade: 10:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Starts at Mestek Corp., goes down North Elm Street, to Elm Street, to Broad Street, to West Silver Street at Parker Memorial Park for a ceremony. Following the ceremony at the park, American Legion Post #124 will march the route in reverse, back to Legion, for additional ceremonies.
Parade: 11:00 a.m. Mon. May 26 – Veterans’ Field on City View Avenue to Kings Highway, to Elm Street, to Park Street, ending at the War Memorial on the east side of the common (rotary). (In the event of inclement weather, a alternate event will be held at the American Legion’s building on Park Street at 11:30)
Parade: 1:00 p.m. Mon. May 26 – North Main Street, left onto Buttonshop Road, left onto Route 9 east, ending at Williamsburg Veterans Memorial for a service.
